The Ticino honey from the Blenio Valley is a multifloral honey that derives from the mixture of various nectars of mountain flora and is harvested in the Ticino region, more precisely in Blenio Valley. The organoleptic characteristics of the product vary from year to year according to the blooms. Its consistency can be liquid immediately after its harvest (from October to December) and after some time (from December to August) it becomes creamy, noticeably sugary, typical of crystallized honey.

Ticino honey from the Blenio Valley is a specialty with a sweet and aromatic flavour. It has a delicate aroma of medium intensity with a sometimes pungent and intense note. Its aroma changes according to the harvest year.
