Flower pollen is an excellent tonic with anti-inflammatory and rebalancing properties. Among the products of the hive, pollen is the most balanced. It is a food that gives energy and supplies essential substances for the structure of the organism. Given the complex composition, it is considered an exceptional energy concentrate. Consequently it is used as a food supplement with high beneficial qualities.

Usage

It can be taken in its natural state, letting it melt directly in the mouth. Alternatively, to make it more pleasant, it can be mixed with honey, yogurt, milk or cereals during breakfast. It is good to take flower pollen in the morning before breakfast or half dose in the morning and half in the evening before eating. Administration should be continued for at least 10-20 days.

Recommended doses: 15/20 g per day are sufficient to provide the right amount of energy and vitamins. For children aged 3 to 12, halve the dose.

Properties

The properties of flower pollen are mainly attributed to the richness of the various nutrients present according to the botanical origin:

• Toning, body and appetite stimulants, nourishing, antianemic.

• Functionally rebalancing, regulating the intestine and digestive processes.

The presence of 20 of the 22 amino acids used by the human body, combined with the significant consistency of the branched chain amino acids (Leucine, Valine and Isoleucine), of all the essential amino acids (including the essential histidine in the child) and of the proteins with high biological value, justify the anabolic properties attributed to flower pollen.

Contraindications

Avoid the consumption of flower pollen for people who generally suffer from intolerances or allergies to bee products. People who suffer from rhinitis and allergic reactions due to pollens normally transported by the air must use caution when taking pollen from flowers. Start with 2-3 grains and then increase until you reach the recommended doses. If symptoms occur (skin rashes, food intolerances, decreased levels of attention, gastrointestinal disorders), it is best to stop taking it immediately.
